This course aims to meet mandatory minimum requirements for training for masters, chief mates, and persons assigned immediate responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers, loading, discharging, or securing cargo or closing hull openings, as well as any other person having a responsibility for the safety of passengers in emergency situations.

In this course, you will learn to train seafarers on how to organize shipboard emergency procedures, use emergency plans, and control passengers and other personnel during emergencies.

The course covers the following subject matter:

• Organize shipboard emergency procedures.
• Using emergency plans
• Control of passengers and personnel during emergencies

Duration
This online course is based on a 16-hour in-person course.
